Can I use fresh tuna instead of canned tuna?

Certainly, you can use fresh tuna instead of canned tuna for your patties. While canned tuna offers convenience, fresh tuna can provide a more succulent and pronounced flavor. Prior to use, ensure the fresh tuna is thoroughly cooked and flaked. This modification allows you to elevate the taste and texture of your tuna veggie patties while offering a delightful twist to the traditional recipe.

What can I serve with tuna veggie patties?

Tuna veggie patties are like the chameleons of the culinary world – they blend in with any crowd! Slap ’em between burger buns with a squad of lettuce, tomatoes, and all the saucy friends for a burger bash. Feeling fancy? Set them atop a leafy throne and call it a salad sensation. Steamed veggies are their BFFs, joining the party for a well-rounded feast. Oh, and let’s not forget the tortilla twist – wrap them up with avocado and salsa for a fiesta in your mouth. These patties are like a culinary wingman, suiting up for any food adventure you have in mind!

Can I freeze tuna veggie patties?

Absolutely, freezing tuna veggie patties is a breeze! Just lay them out on a baking sheet for an initial freeze, then pop them into a freezer bag or container. When you’re ready to relish their goodness, let them thaw in the fridge before cooking. This freezer-friendly hack lets you have a stash of scrumptious patties on hand whenever your cravings kick in – a win-win for busy days and last-minute meals!
