INGREDIENTS
 

  • 2 5 ounces/140 grams tuna cans, drained
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 1 small potato, cooked and mashed
  • 1 carrot, finely grated
  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped
  • ½ cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and prepare the patties with your hands.
  • Heat a large frying pan with ½” (1 cm) of oil and fry the patties on both sides until they are golden brown, or bake at 355F (180C) for 30 minutes.
