Tips for achieving the desired texture in the oat mixture

To ensure a perfect balance, it’s recommended to thoroughly mix the rolled oats, powdered sugar, and melted butter until the consistency is even. Pressing down the mixture on the baking sheet creates a firm and even base. Additionally, paying attention to the butter’s temperature and consistency during melting helps achieve the right texture, contributing to the overall deliciousness and structure of the oat layer in the final dessert.

How can I make this strawberry cheesecake squares dairy free?

Transforming the strawberry cheesecake squares into a dairy-free delight requires a few thoughtful substitutions. For the cheese filling, consider using plant-based alternatives like dairy-free cream cheese and sour cream. Coconut cream or a non-dairy whipping cream substitute can replace the heavy whipping cream. Opt for egg substitutes, such as applesauce or mashed bananas, to maintain the binding properties.

In the oat mixture, replace butter with a dairy-free alternative, ensuring it complements the flavors. These swaps, combined with careful selection of dairy-free ingredients, will result in a luscious and indulgent dairy-free version of the strawberry cheesecake squares without compromising on taste.
