Fish Cigars with Green Tahini Dip

INGREDIENTS
 

Filling:

  • 2 skinless fish fillets (the one used in the video is a flathead mullet), coarsely chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • ½ bunch parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Green tahini dip:

INSTRUCTIONS

Cigars:

  • Fill ½ of your pot with oil
  • Mix all the filling ingredients in a bowl.
  • Spread a filo sheet on a flat surface, place the filling in a diagonal row and roll to close the sheet (as shown in the video). 
  • Deep fry for about 2-3 minutes or until the cigars turn golden all around.
  • Remove from the pot and place on a baking rack.

Green tahini dip:

  • Whisk all the ingredients in a bowl until you get a smooth dip.
