Chestnut Mushroom Pasta

INGREDIENTS
- ½ package your-favorite pasta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 9 ounces/250 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 6 ounces/170 grams roasted chestnuts, sliced
- ½ red onion, half-moon sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 8 grape tomatoes
- 12 ounces/350 milliliters heavy whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cooks the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- Heat a frying pan, add the butter and drizzle olive oil.
- Sauté the onion and the garlic for about 5 minutes.
- Add in the mushrooms and chestnuts and fry for a minute.
- Add the grape tomatoes, stir and pour in the heavy whipping cream.
- Sprinkle the salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally and add in the pasta. Sprinkle the chili flakes.
