INGREDIENTS
 

  • ½ package your-favorite pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 9 ounces/250 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 6 ounces/170 grams roasted chestnuts, sliced
  • ½ red onion, half-moon sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 8 grape tomatoes
  • 12 ounces/350 milliliters heavy whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cooks the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
  • Heat a frying pan, add the butter and drizzle olive oil.
  • Sauté the onion and the garlic for about 5 minutes.
  • Add in the mushrooms and chestnuts and fry for a minute.
  • Add the grape tomatoes, stir and pour in the heavy whipping cream.
  • Sprinkle the salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally and add in the pasta. Sprinkle the chili flakes.
