INGREDIENTS
 

  • 8 baby plum tomatoes, with deep cuts to place the cheese slices
  • 8 ounces/226 grams fresh mozzarella, cut into little square slices
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 8 bush (dwarf) basil leaves, or 4 regular basil leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place the mozzarella squares inside the tomato cuts.
  • Pour olive oil onto a plate, then sprinkle with salt, pepper and balsamic glaze.
  • Put the tomatoes on the plate and add the basil leaves on top of each one.
