Mix all the filling ingredients in a bowl and pour into a strainer inside a bowl (save the liquid for later).
Take out the dough from the fridge, sprinkle flour on your working surface and divide the dough into 4 parts.
Roll each part out with a rolling pin to a thin rectangular layer. Brush it with soft butter or oil, add a layer of the filling on half of the it, drizzle honey and cover with the other half.
Flatten the filled dough with the rolling pin and roll into a tube-like shape. Cut it into 2" thick pieces and place them in a deep baking pan. Cover it and let rise for about 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 355 F (180 C ) and bake for 30 minutes, or until the rolls turn golden.
Heat up the liquid you set aside earlier and pour it over the rolls when they come out of the oven.
