In a wide pot, heat olive oil and sauté the onions and chicken drumsticks together until they turn golden brown.
Add the dried fruits and spices, and stir to release the flavors. Add enough water to almost completely cover everything, then cover the pot with a lid and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C).
Uncover the pot, add the pumpkin, and bake for an additional 30 minutes using the turbo mode.
