Heat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder in a medium bowl. Add the yogurt and mix until a rough dough forms, then knead briefly in the bowl until smooth. If the dough is sticky, dust lightly with additional flour.
Lightly oil a 9- to 10-inch skillet and press the dough into an even layer. For a thinner crust, roll it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake until the dough is set but not yet browned, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, spread with sauce, and top with cheese and desired toppings.
Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden at the edges, 12 to 15 minutes. Let rest briefly before slicing and serving.
