Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients except for the peaches and mix them until a uniform batter is formed. Add the diced peaches to the batter.
Grease muffin tins or molds with oil and fill them using a spoon or ladle from the batter. Sprinkle the chopped nuts and sugar on top. Bake for 20-30 minutes until the muffins are golden brown.
