INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat up a pan with on high heat and add the olive oil.
  • Salt the sirloin steaks and sear for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside for at least 10 minutes.
  • Heat up a small pan on low heat and add the rice. Toast it until it starts to brown. Crush the toasted rice, add the chili, sugar, fish sauce, lemon and mix well.
  • Cut the steaks into thin slices. Place the cilantro, mint, red onion, scallion in a bowl. Put the steak slices on top and pour over the sauce. Mix well and serve with sticky rice balls or any other side you like.
