INGREDIENTS
 

  • 5 cups 700 grams flour
  • 1 cup 240 milliliters milk
  • ½ cup 120 milliliters water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • tablespoons yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • tablespoons 50 grams soft butter

Brush:

  • cup water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 12 pecans

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a mixer bowl, combine the flour, milk, water, sugar, and yeast. Knead the mixture for 10 minutes until the dough forms.
  • Introduce vanilla extract, turmeric, cinnamon, pumpkin puree, salt, and butter. Blend the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined. Cover the bowl and allow the dough to rise for approximately an hour.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape them into rolls.
  • Preheat your oven to 355°F (180°C). Take each piece of dough and wrap a string around it four times, following the demonstration in the video. Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rest for 15 minutes.
  • Place the rolls in the preheated oven and bake for around 25 minutes, or until they achieve a golden hue. Once baked, let the rolls cool before carefully removing the strings.
  • Create a mixture using water and honey, then generously brush it onto the rolls. Gently press a pecan onto the top of each roll.
