INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 355 F (180 C).
Heat up a pan and add the oil.
Fry the onion with the sugar and water in a pan for about 15 minutes until it is golden and there is no liquid left.
Place a puff pastry sheet on your working surface and cut out a circle with a knife using a plate as the shape.
Add ½ of the fried onion at the center of the circle, flatten with a tablespoon and place a Camembert block on top.
Wrap the Camembert with the pastry sheet and tie with a string as shown in the video.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden. Cut the string after you remove the pastry from the oven.
